How to travel smoothly, save money on passes, and get around your new city like a local.
Most Canadian cities and colleges offer a heavily discounted student transit pass (often called a U-Pass or integrated into your student card). Visit your campus student union office during your first week to activate it and save hundreds of dollars.
Visit TTCIn Canada, buses only stop if someone is waiting at the bus stop sign or if a passenger pulls the yellow overhead cord to signal the next stop. Always enter through the front door to tap your card or pay, and exit through the back doors.
